Surprise!
Kaitlin and Archie came home with this surprise from the grocery store. Kaitlin REALLY wanted to give them to me. She is very sweet and thoughtful like that (and so is Archie to take her with him and let her do this). Tulips remind me of Seattle a lot. Every spring about two hours north of Seattle, there is a tulip festival we liked to see.

apparently my milk supply just dips around 3-4 months and this time it didn't return. With Evan, his weight gain slowed but he was close enough to 6 months that we just started solids and by 9 months he was gaining normally again, but this time it was not working and Allison was younger. Thankfully I found some herbs to help. It's always a bit frustrating when you are trying to nourish your children and they aren't able to get enough, even if it is their choice!
