Beckie

Okay, it's official. I am going to miss you Beckie, more than you know. I am missing a friend, a confidante, a friend for my daughter, a baby sitter, a "wave out the back porch to feel connected", etc. I almost feel like a piece of myself is going away. I know you don't really want to hear it but it is true. At the primary function, Barb came up to me and said she couldn't believe you were really going and would be missed. I said, "Yes, a lot of us are going to miss her." You don't know how many people you have helped and have effected. Take care. I'll still call you but it's going to be hard to look at your house from my back deck and know it doesn't have you in it.

Thanks for having Rich help me set up the playlist. I always like mournful or yearning music. It's funny because I don't feel that way inside but I like it as music. Weird. I am mostly happy inside.

Surprise!

Surprise!
Kaitlin and Archie came home with this surprise from the grocery store. Kaitlin REALLY wanted to give them to me. She is very sweet and thoughtful like that (and so is Archie to take her with him and let her do this). Tulips remind me of Seattle a lot. Every spring about two hours north of Seattle, there is a tulip festival we liked to see.
