Archie's work had a huge Halloween Festival for the kids. The different floors competed. His floor did the Wizard of Oz. Here is the house on the feet of the Wicked Witch of the East

Here is the Mayor with a sign that says she is not only dead but really sincerely dead.

Here is a picture of the guys singing that they are the Lollipop Guild. Isn't it amazing how this doesn't even look like an office and they went all out.

Kaitlin is a bride and Carmen is Jasmine. They are here with the scarecrow.

Here is the tin man with a living tree. I forgot about that in the movie until I saw it move.

Here is the cowardly lion with Kaitlin saying that girls scare him. She is enjoying it.

They even did the yellow brick road with the little twirl to begin it. My girls loved all this!

This wicked witch was sprayed by the Dorothy below and pretended to melt.

This Dorothy gave us cute "melted" chocolate wicked witch hats out of this caldron. They were those cookies with chocolate bottoms had a pretzel and a curved top part dipped chocolate part. Quite original.

They even included the flying monkeys.

See, this doesn't look like an office. People are still working behind these curtains--not any with children though.

This is a great entrance to the Emerald City. The guys in the background are singing that song and getting all primped up. They had a bouncy house in there for the kids.
All in all, it was a blast and the girls had a lot of fun.

WOW! An entire building of spook allies although not so spooky. Fun Allies. The girls are gorgeous!

They aren't as spooky as the gingerbread house I've build for the trail center. Now that's spooky! Ahhh!

Wow what a fun tradition! I am still wondering how much work really was getting done while all these cute kids were in the building! So fun!

Surprise!

Surprise!
Kaitlin and Archie came home with this surprise from the grocery store. Kaitlin REALLY wanted to give them to me. She is very sweet and thoughtful like that (and so is Archie to take her with him and let her do this). Tulips remind me of Seattle a lot. Every spring about two hours north of Seattle, there is a tulip festival we liked to see.
